Simulation of kinematics and dynamics of quantum many-body physics

Abstract: In this talk, I will give a survey of simulating many-body quantum physics with classical and quantum methods. After introducing the general concept of asymptotic error correction, we'll see how kinematics of generic quantum many-body systems goes hand in hand with quantum error correction and can be well approximated by tensor networks. Finally, we will explore the classical and quantum tools for simulating the dynamics in quantum field theories.
Basic knowledge of quantum physics of many-party systems is necessary, anything beyond is a bonus that will increase the joy you get from the talk.
